The continent’s leading tech startup deal flow platform AfricArena teams up with UN International Trade Centre to launch the #FastTrackTech Africa Challenge across 7 countries: Benin, Côte d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Mali, Rwanda, Tanzania and Zambia. This partnership amounts to a total of $35,000 in prize money, and up to $245,000 in AWS credits.
AfricArena has teamed up with the United Nations ITC to launch the #FastTrackTech Africa Challenge across 7 countries: Benin, Côte d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Mali, Rwanda, Tanzania and Zambia. This is an exciting opportunity for tech start-ups from these countries with distinctive products, unique technologies and ambitious founding teams to be scaled up.
The AfricArena sourcing team will work closely with its network of partners to identify the most promising entrepreneurs. 21 finalists will qualify and compete on AfricArena Air, the AfricArena Summit digital track on 24 and 25 November 2020. The winners of each country will walk away with several prizes, including a $5,000 cash prize, $10,000 in AWS credit and up to $5,000 business support from Amazon Web services. All Finalists will also earn $5,000 in AWS credit and up to $5,000 business support from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
